has been a professional psychic for the last twenty years and was born with the great gift of translating the complex patterns that happen when we are in intimate relationship.

How Does a Psychic Do?
What are the Differences Between Psychics?

To understand the psychic world it is important to remember than no psychic, mystic or healer of any credibility will claim that they are 100% accurate. Psychic phenomenon is an art that develops over time and through trial and error on the part of the psychic.

Psychics are also sensitive to the energy compatibility between themselves and the client. Sometimes that connection is easy to interpret and the readings can be amazingly accurate and insightful. Other days any psychic can be having personal challenges within their life and that reading can be less accurate and informative.

The clients mental belief systems can block how the psychic can deliver the information to them, meaning that sometimes the communication skill of the psychic may not be working for the client or the client may not be open to hearing the information being given.

It is important to learn how to be open to any information being given and attempt to sort through the information yourself to find where it fits or doesn’t.

Also look to the psychic’s life to find clues as to how accurate they are or are not. What this means is that if the psychic is having constant money problems they may not be as accurate reading information about the clients money situation. The same can be true about relationships. If the psychic does not have good, healthy, intimate relationships then they are not well qualified to answer your questions about personal relationships.

Be aware of charlatans that hook you in by offering, as an example, a $10.00 palm reading but then claim that to get all the information they have, you will have to give more money. Sometimes they will claim that you have to buy expensive candles, crystals or ceremonies in order for them to clear all this negative karma off you. This is not necessarily true.

Often the weakness in human nature is that we want someone else to do the work for us rather than take the time, effort and tremendous energy it takes to change our behaviors that are not working. Charlatans capitalize on the desperateness in human nature to manipulate for their own gain.

Remember all psychics do not have the same skills. A medium (a person who reads the dead) may not be able to psychically read their own dog’s energy or answer questions about a friend’s love life. A Palmist may not be able to read spirits or get information from the angels. For this reason we are sorting out the following types of psychics for you to understand and become more aware of what you want and what you are looking for in a personal reading.

What are the Different Types of Psychics

Mediums:

Mediums are psychics that can talk to the dead. They often hear and see spirits that have passed over to the other side. Their specialty is being able to bring messages from the dead to the living. Their focus is to help those alive through the grieving process let go of fear of death and help them resolve issues with the dead loved ones.

Each Medium operates differently and accesses information from different vantage points. Characteristically information can come in as pictures or sequences with which the Medium has learned to sort out as their personal code or system.
Examples: John Edwards, Laurie Campbell, James Van Prague.

Tarot Readers: Tarot Readers have studied the complex metaphorical meaning within the psychology of the human mind as they are reflected in the Tarot Cards. Tarot Cards have many symbols and overlapping meanings that direct the Tarot Reader to the events happening in the client’s life. Tarot shows the life pathways that each of us is on at different times in our life. Tarot is sorted into the Major Arcana, Minor Arcana and the Court Cards.

The Major Arcana include cards such as the Fool, The Hanged Man, Death, Star and the Universe. These cards indicate the different patterns in which you are engaged within your life. The example would be that the Fool shows where you are beginning something new and are unsure where this direction may lead but you have a compelling energy to begin. The Hanged Man shows where you are feeling trapped by your circumstances and where your beliefs stop you from going forward. The Death card does not always mean death. It often means death to the ego or identity. Which to some people can be just as hard as a physical death. The Star card appears when you are feeling hopeful and uplifted. It is where the dream is finally possible. The Universe card shows where you are in a completion stage of some pattern in your life and where you should be congratulated.

The Minor Arcana shows where you are handling certain energies within the journeys of the Major Arcana. The Wands represent fire and where you are putting energy and what kind of energy you are putting into something. The Cups represent water and show what your emotions are at along your life path. The Swords describe what your mind is up to and what you are thinking about. The Disks represent what is happening in the material plane and how you are handling your money and possessions.

The Court Cards help you indicate patterns you are dealing with internally and certain behavior patterns you may be using consciously or unconsciously. They can also indicate other people in your life and show you how to best approach them or help them.

Tarot Readers love to uncover the intricate mental, emotional and spiritual patterns that we hold within and they assist us in understanding all sides of ourselves so we can grow through the challenges happening in our life.

They use the cards as a guide and then allow their intuition to follow through and probe deeper into the mystery of each client.

Palmistry: Palmistry is the science and mystical translation of the patterns within the palm, hands and fingers. Many see Palmistry as a magical intuitive game, but in actuality it began as a much more scientific experiment. Most do not know that one of the greatest researchers of Palmistry was Comte C. de Saint Germain, from France. He wrote one of the most extensive series of books on the subject and some excerpts are still sold in book form today. To him, there was scientific proof to back up knowing how to translate palms. It was more of a science than magic.

Today there is a little bit of both. A good palmist looks at the patterns held within the palm and allows their mind to explore deeper psychically into the client and assist them in seeing what has happened in the past, present and future.

There are readers that read your dominant hand, there are readers that read the right hand, and there are readers that read the left hand. Each tradition has reasons why and each can be accurate. What is more important is the quality of the reader rather than what hand is being read.

Palmists read the major lines in the hand but they can also read the small red marks in the hand that change. To a Palmist, palms change approximately every six months slightly. They also read the fingerprints (which are unique to each individual); they read the shape of your hands, finger, and palms. They read the mounds below each finger based on fullness, shape or emptiness.

Each of the fingers is related to an area of the palm and these are translated based on the planets in our solar system. The index finger is Jupiter, the middle finger is Saturn, the ring finger is Mercury, the little finger is often called Apollo and the thumb is Venus. This gives the palmist landmarks upon which to translate information to the client.

There are psychics that only read energy that comes off of areas of the hand, fingers, palm, wrist and forearm. This is more of a straight psychic reading rather than palmistry as they have their own format for translating the information.
